After a short break of a few weeks due to issues with Reakktor's (former?) parent company, 10Tacle Studios AG, the Official Black Prophecy website has made a return allowing users to once again sign up for the Closed Beta of the upcoming Space Action MMO.

I think you will agree that the return of the website is a positive indication of the future of the game!

Kirk Lenke the CEO of Reakktor has just posted the following good news about Reakktor's operations in the light of 10T being insolvent.

With regards to the announcement of 10Tacle Studios AG business activity's discontinuation, Reakktor Media, subsidiary of 10Tacle Studios AG, declares that this does not affect the business activity of Reakktor Media GmbH, despite the insolvency, especially with regards to the operation of the MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) "Neocron 2" and the development of the MMO (Massively Online Game) "Black Prophecy".;

A trailer and Beta news? Could today get any better?!

Today we see another set of screenshots released by Reakktor Media showing off the fantastic looking Black Prophecy!

 For a gander at the four new fantastic looking shots head on over to our forums to drink in the eye candy!

The new shot pack includes a look at another huge space station, a fleet of hefty looking ships orbiting a gas giant complete with belt/rings, a ship navigating through what looks like some post fight carnage and finally two ships en route towards a beautiful looking terra-like planet.

You won't be disapointed!

Some exciting news today! In a recent interview with the TechHaven Network, Snowcrash gave this update on Black Prophecy.

1. When will any more news about Black Prophecy be released?
The development team is heavily busy with bringing the game to the beta state as we are planning to offer a closed beta in Q3/Q4 2008. The next step will be a refresh of the current product website together with a beta application form and some new screenshots and game information. Also the official Black Prophecy community forums and the community portal can be expected to be launched sometime soon.

Reakktor today announced the launch of the offical black prophecy teaser site. Its flash based, and most of the content was already seen on 10Tacle's page about Black Prophecy, although the author of the storyline for Black Prophecy is revealed here. Hopefully there will be more information available after the games convention, as the site mentions it being unveiled there.
